Shakespeare’s Globe opens it doors to children… for free

Shakespeare's Globe Theatre on the Thames has opened its doors to every state secondary school in London for free.

More than 19,000 children from across the capital will get to watch Othello.

For many it will be their first experience of live theatre. 

Patrick Spottiswoode, Director of Globe Education, and Bethan Cullinane who plays Othello's love Desdemona explain more.
