Skeletal horse replaces blue cockerel on Fourth Plinth

A riderless, skeletal horse has replaced the blue cockerel on Trafalgar Square’s Fourth Plinth.

The new commission includes an electronic ribbon tied to its front leg displaying the live ticker of the London Stock Exchange.

It represents a comment on the relationship between money, power and history in London.

The Gift Horse by artist Hans Haacke, was unveiled by the Mayor of London Boris Johnson this morning in London's Trafalgar Square.

London Live's Reya El-Salahi was there to witness the unveiling and meet the chair of the commissioning group, writer and broadcaster Ekow Eshun.
