Chiswick woman takes on world’s ‘toughest’ foot race

It’s known as the toughest foot race on earth.

Competitors will complete six marathon in just five days across the Sahara Desert with temperatures in excess of 50 Celsius. 

The 165 mile Marathon De Sables can be a survival of the fittest - where just finishing is an achievement. 

Farah Idris, from Chiswick, will be one of those taking part.
