‘More needs to be done to help people with learning disabilities vote’

The race for Number 10 has officially kicked off.

Today will be the first full day of campaigning and charities are calling on more to be done to make sure people with learning disabilities aren't ignored. 

After the 2010 election one in 5 people told learning disabilities charity Mencap they'd been turned away at polling stations because of their disability.

Robert Holland, from the charity, explains more.
