Some foreign students no longer eligible for oyster card discount under changes

There are calls for Mayor of London Boris Johnson to step in and stop Transport for London changes which would see thousands of foreign students no longer eligible for reduced travel fares.

TfL has ended a 30 per cent discount to some overseas students - unless they study at a school or college accredited by the UK Border Agency.

A move some say puts the £2billion pound industry at risk.

Charles Bunker, from the Callan School London - one of the UK’s largest English language schools, explains more.
