Cricket legend Richie Benaud dies aged 84

The legendary cricket commentator Richie Benaud had died aged 84.

He was the Australian Captain that lead the team to three ashes victories before moving into the world of cricket commentary. 

Benaud held a long association with the BBC, which ended in the 2005 Ashes series. 

It was reported in November that he was diagnosed with skin cancer last year.
