Inheritance the only way for young people to buy homes

Half of parents think their children will never own a home without inheritance.

According to research published today one in six people under 34 years-old can only buy a home when they are gifted sums of money or inherit cash from a dead friend or family member.

Martha Mackenzie, is from Shelter, the charity behind the research, explains more.
