TB rates in parts of London are as high as in Sub-Saharan Africa

A new technique developed by a University College London team has reduced the time to examine tuberculosis strains in patients.

The disease rates in some parts of London are as high as in Sub-Saharan Africa, and drug-resistant strains are becoming increasingly common.

To explain more was Dr Josie Bryant who works in the Division of Infection & Immunity at UCL.
