Anti-austerity protesters set to gather as Queen officially opens Parliament

As the Queen officially opens Parliament today thousands of anti-austerity protestors are set to gather outside.

Students and demonstrators from Occupy London is marching from Downing Street to Westminster opposing Conservative plans of five more years of spending cuts.

It follows an anti-Tory protest in Whitehall more than two weeks ago which led to clashes with police.

Hattie Craig, a member of the National Campaign Against Fees and Cuts, explains more.
