Arsenal celebrate FA cup win

Two open-top buses paraded their way through the streets of Islington today with Arsenal players showing off the return of the FA cup to club.

The four – nil thrashing over Aston Villa secured the club’s twelfth FA cup win, and their second in a row after they beat Hull City three – two in last year’s final.

Thousands of supporters lined the streets of the parade route which started and finished at Arsenal’s home ground, the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal manager, Arsène Wenger, said: “I would like to thank everybody here, and it shows just how great this club is and we are very proud of our fans. We are very proud of our players as well because they produced an outstanding performance yesterday.”

Arsenal fans are looking forward to the beginning of the new season, but are clear that although the current squad is very strong there is room for change.

Supporters of all clubs will be keeping a keen eye on the deals that are made over the summer during the pre-season transfer window which starts on the 9th of June.
