U.K.'s very first Islamic hair salon

When Mary Al-Khudri trained to be a hairdresser she spotted a gap in the market.

As a Muslim convert there weren't any hair and beauty salons that catered to her needs.

So she set up the UK's very first Islamic one - which opened in Stanmore 6 years ago.

She's being honoured in the House of Commons at the The Association of Colleges’ Gold Awards
