New summer cycle scheme lauches

London has launched a new summer cycle scheme, in an attempt to get more people in the capital on two wheels.

Jenson Button, ambassador for the cycle scheme, said the scheme was worth it to "get in a bit of fitness" on a daily commute.

Leon Daniels, Director of Surface Transport for TFL, highlighted road safety at the launch.

Referring to the deaths of two cyclists over the last few weeks, he said "one death is two many".

London Live were at the launch.
