Use of Water Cannon rejected by Home Secretary

The Met Police will not be allowed to use water cannon despite Boris Johnson already spending more than £200,000 buying three from Germany last year.

Speaking today the Home Secretary Theresa May told MPs her decision was based on medical and technical assessments.

Caroline Pigeon explains why she supports the move.
