Proposal to allow Met to claim football match policing costs from clubs

The Met police should be able to get the money it costs to police football matches in the capital, back from clubs.

That's the recommendation from the Labour London Assembly member Andrew Dismore. 

It's after new figures show the force spent almost £2million last year.
