Garden Bridge project gets a surge of support

The controversial Garden Bridge project has received a surge in popularity.

According to the latest research - 78 per cent of Londoners are in favour of the bridge - which would see a public garden and pedestrian crossing spanning the River Thames, from the South Bank to Temple tube station.

Bee Emmott, the Executive Director of the Garden Bridge Trust, told London Live that ambitious new projects in the capital often start off with negative criticism.
