New film tells untold tale of Caribbean war heroes

A new film telling the true story of the relationship between the Caribbean and English ex-servicemen and women who fought against Hitler, is being screened in the capital this week.

'Divided by Race, United by War and Peace' explores the experiences of some of the 16,000 West Indian veterans who risked their lives in the second world war. 

The documentary's director Marc Wadsworth joined London Live News ahead of the film's screening at the Stratford Picturehouse on Thursday 1st October 2015.
