Dinner with Saddam comes to the West End

Dinner with Saddam tells the pre-Gulf War story of Saddam Hussein turning up at an Iraqi family's house and inviting himself in for dinner.

The story is based on reports that the late dictator used to move between private homes in an attempt to avoid assassination attempts.

It's by acclaimed author Anthony Horowitz and is on at the Menier Chocolate Factory in Southwark, it features a cast including Steven Berkoff, Sanjeev Bhaskar and Ilan Goodman.

Among the stars is Shobu Kapoor (who you may recognise from the likes of Citizen Khan and Eastenders), she came into the London Live studios to tell Luke Blackall us more about the play.
