Jim Dolan and his band shoot into town

JD and the Straight Shot, formed by Jim Dolan, have toured with the Eagles, Dixie Chicks, Keith Urban and Don Henley.

While they have played some huge venues in their native US, on tour in Europe they are playing a series of more intimate gigs, kiccking off in London at the Islington as part of the London Folk and Roots Festival.

Dolan isn't just any frontman, however, he's also Executive Chairman of The Madison Square Garden Company, which runs the iconic entertainment venue and owns some of New York's best-known sports teams.

He and bandmates Erin Slaver and Marc Copely told London Live's Luke Blackall what European audiences can expect.
