New exhibition: The Art of the Selfie

A selfie might seem like the ultimate in 21st century narcissism, but a new exhibition is proving the indulgent pics aren't just a modern day phenomenon.

Old Street station plays host to a pop-up show exploring personal portraits from classic Renaissance art to Warhol's iconic pop art series, alongside workshops looking at the psychology and skills behind taking pictures of yourself.

Gyr King, Creative Director of "The Art of the Selfie", tells London Live News why selfie-lovers deserve respect.
