New scheme to help disadvantaged athletes

Pursuing a career in sport can be expensive, and for some athletes, without the money to support training, travel and competition costs, there comes a time when difficult decisions have to be made. It's a dilemma that's led Sport England to launch a new bursary scheme, supporting talented young people access top-level sport, regardless of their backgrounds. Sport England's Chief Executive, Jennie Price and London athlete, Sheikh Sheikh tell London Live News how the grant could help the capital's sporting stars of the future.
