Christmas with a Japanese twist

Londoners have been invited to swap the turkey and mulled wine for sushi and sake at an alternative Christmas market in east London. Hyper Japan played host to a festive celebration of east Asian culture, cuisine and J-pop music at Tobacco Dock this weekend.

Popular J-pop metal band, Lady Baby, made their European debut at the event in Wapping, while some of the capital's best sushi chefs and mixologists battled it out to be crowned the Sushi and Sake Award winners.
