The value of London's trees exceeds 6 billion pounds

New research shows that the value of London's trees exceeds 6 billion pounds. The figure is part of a report from the General London Authority which also claims the capital's wooded and lined streets are worth around 130 million pounds when it comes to reducing pollution and flooding. The news comes as hundreds of volunteers gathered in Ealing - to create a new wood.
