Exclusive: Metropolitan Police pilots new technique to catch prolific shoplifter

The Metropolitan Police are piloting a new way of identifying criminals.

The technique is an evolution of their "super recogniser" unit, and has won an award for it's new appoach.

They're now attempting to use it to catch a prolific shoplifter suspected of stealing more than 100 thousand pounds worth of goods so far.
