Londoners surrender 60 firearms to police

A gun and ammunition surrender has come to an end in the capital. For the last two weeks Londoners have been offered the chance to hand over weapons, without fear of prosecution. More than 60 firearms and 1000 rounds of ammunition were recovered - Considerably less than last year, which saw 350 firearms and 12,300 rounds of ammunition handed in.
