Paintings at fast food prices at The Art Take Away

Dozens of Londoners came together at the Espacio Gallery in Bethnal Green in the hope of grabbing a bargain.

An event called The Art Take Away saw works being sold off for the price of fast food.

In keeping with the theme, buyers took home their chosen items in pizza boxes.

The event was organised by Sweet'Art, a not-for-profit organisation that supports artists.

All proceeds will go towards a new women's charity called Outskirts which aims to help women and marginalised groups through art therapy and advice services.
