1966 World Cup winners launch 50th anniversary events

Members of the England team who won the 1966 World Cup returned to the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington where they held their victory party.

Sir Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters, George Cohen and Gordon Banks were there to launch a programme of events celebrating 50 years since their epic win.

Among them will be an exhibition at Wembley Stadium featuring the ball used in the final and the Jules Rimet trophy handed to England.
