Croydon Council meeting met with angry crowds over development plans

A Croydon Council meeting was met with angry crowds last night as councillors met to discuss development plans for the borough. 

Hundreds of people, many from Shirley, packed the town hall to listen to a debate on the proposals, which residents say could damage their parts of the borough. 

Conservative MP for Croydon Central Gavin Barwell joined London Live earlier.
