Track Cycling World Championships come to London

The UCI Track Cycling World Championships are one of the most prestigious competitions in the sport.

With the Rio Olympic Games coming up this summer, all of the top international cyclists including Bradley Wiggins and Laura Trott will be descending on the Lee Valley VeloPark to compete in March.

It's been announced that £200,000 will fund a "legacy programme" - to maximise the opportunities that this major sporting event can bring to the capital.
