Lab-free COVID-19 test by DnaNudge wins prestigious Academy award
London based company DnaNudge has been named as the winner of an award from the Royal Academy of Engineering for the development a rapid, lab-free COVID-19 test which has been used in NHS hospitals and care homes.
The test is now supporting the return of the arts sector with the technology detecting the virus from saliva samples on-site in just over an hour – eliminating the need for a laboratory.
Professor Chris Toumazou, who’s the CEO and co-founder of the company has been telling Alicia about this new technology.
