Funding boost for east London's canals

Waterways in the east of the capital were given a boost after plans to restore the Carpenters Road Lock in the Olympic park were approved. When the work is finished it'll be the only one of its kind in the UK, and is part of a 10 year project to open up more of our canals to the public
