Concerns over apprenticeship opportunities given to women

Today marks the start of National Apprenticeship Week, and with more than 45-thousand places taken up last year alone in the capital, the scheme is proving popular.

But there are growing concerns over the number of opportunities given to women.

In London's construction industry 97% of opportunities were taken by men.
