Eric Bana reveals he had to ban Ricky Gervais from playing guitar on set

Eric Bana says he was flattered that Ricky Gervais knew who he was when he approached him for a role in Gervais' new film Special Correspondents.

But the gratitude didn't extend to allowing Gervais to play any David Brent songs on set or in their shared trailer.

The movie tells the story of two radio journalists who, instead of going to report from a war zone, just stay at home.

And Bana, also told London Live's Luke Blackall that staying at home is something he'd like to do more often.

Special Correspondents is out on Netflix now.
