Hounslow Council's Cash Generating Solar Project

Hounslow council has unveiled a solar power project, which the local authority says is the largest of its kind in the capital.

Six thousand panels have been placed on the roof of a wholesale market in the borough, costing £2 million.

The council says it will save £250,000 a year on energy bills - but it's unclear if or when the scheme will benefit people living and working in the area.
