London Film Club speaks to award winning director Ciro Guerra

Colombian director Ciro Guerra's new film Embrace of the Serpent takes us on a journey around the Amazon in search of a sacred flower.  The film won much acclaim at Cannes 2015 and later became the first Colombian film to be nominated for the Academy Awards.

London Film Club's Arazou Baker caught up with the man himself to talk about his inspiration for the film and what it was like casting from an actual Amazonian village.

Embrace of the Serpent is out in cinemas now.
