Comedian Jo Brand challenged to attend Streatham Festival

The south London neighbourhood that birthed the likes of model Naomi Campbell, actor June Whitfield and politician Ken Livingstone is being celebrated with a festival dedicated to Streatham this weekend. Dozens of venues across SW16 are hosting events with everything from free creative workshops to film screenings and open air performances. One of the event's organisers, Gloria Austen, has issued a challenge for comedian Jo Brand to attend the 14th annual festival after the star dissed the area.

Streatham Festival runs from 2nd - 9th July 2016. For full listings visit www.streathamfestival.com.
