Krept and Konan want to star in a comic book movie

UK rappers Krept and Konan have caught the acting bug and would now love to land a part in a Hollywood blockbuster.

The duo make their big screen debut in the British crime thriller 'The Intent' and said the experience has left them wanting more.

Karl Wilson aka Konan said his big ambition is to do "X-Men, Marvel films."

He added "I'm putting it in the air now, in the universe, so hopefully it will happen."

The pair are just two of the music stars featured in The Intent. Rapper Scorcher plays the role of Hoodz, while Fekky also makes his acting debut playing Blacks.

The film which was shot in London in 2014 has taken several years to reach the big screen as makers Femi Oyeniran and Nicky Slimting Walker had to raise the money and distribute it independently.

It's released in selected cinemas on July 29 and is also available as a digital download.
