CARNIVAL 2016: The London School of Samba

Prepare to be dazzled at the Notting Hill Carnival as an estimated 30 million sequins will be on display on the thousands of colourful costumes.

Months of work go into designing and making them. The London School of Samba begin the preparations almost a whole year before the event.

The School has been taking part in London's biggest street party for more than 20 years.

Funmi Olutoye was taken on a tour of their workshop in Brixton.
