The Felix Project: Unused food goes to those in need

More than 10 million tonnes of fresh food are wasted in this country each year, yet its thought that in the capital alone, 400,000 people suffer from food poverty.

The Felix Project is a new, charitable service that looks to take one of these problems to help the other.

They gather unused food from supermarkets and caterers and then supply charities working with those in need.
