New online picture archive set up showcasing the Black British experience

A new online picture archive called Black In The Day features photos which detail the lives and experiences of black people in the UK through the decades.

Tania Nwachukwu and Jojo Sonubi started the project in July and have since then received more 200 photo submissions from people all over the country.

The duo have been holding what they call "scanning socials" which encourage people to turn up with their personal and family photos to be scanned and added to the archive.
