Shaun Ryder the Footsoldier - singer joins Craig Fairbrass on set of new film

Shaun Ryder's last appearance on film was in The Avengers in 1998, sixteen years later he's returning to the big screen with a role in Rise of the Footsolider: the Beginning.

In the movie, the singer plays Mad Dog, a prisoner with a tough reputation, who comes up against the film's protagonist Pat Tate - played by Craig Fairbrass.

London Live paid a visit to the set of the third installment of the franchise. There, we spoke to both Fairbrass and Ryder about their roles, why the Footsoldier films have been so popular, and Shaun's struggles with learning his lines...
