Africans in London: The Black Tudors tour

A new tour is happening in the City of London this month to educate people about the life of the black community in London during the Tudor period.

The Tudor Blackamoor Christmas tour is based on a book called Blackamoors.

It took a painstaking 20 years to collate information from different churches and parishes about black people living in the square mile during that time.

The tour will be on until 1st January and will be on three times a day. More info can be found here: http://www.narrative-eye.org.uk/events.html

One of the tour guides Kwame Asiedu invited us to join his round.
