41% increase in hit and runs in the capital, says City Hall

City Hall says there's been a 41% increase in the number of hit and runs in the capital since 2011.

The Police and Crime Committee said 11 people were killed last year and almost 5,000 others hurt.

Cases also include drivers causing damage to other vehicles, without reporting it or coming forward. 

Steve O'Connell AM, Chairman of the Police and Crime Committee, spoke to London Live about the figures.
