London's most prolific speed camera

A speed camera in West London is said to have generated more than 1.5 million pounds in fines during the first six months that it was in operation.

According to the Evening Standard - the device on Gunnersbury Avenue on the North Circular was behind a third of all tickets issued in the capital between last April and October.

Transport for London, which approved the camera, said the speed limit was imposed to protect workers replacing a nearby bridge.
