London's waterways are more popular than ever, with boat numbers increasing and a record 60 million people using the towpaths each year.

The charity that looks after the capital's canals says it can't continue to thrive without the help of volunteers. It's looking for people to take-up arguably one of the most iconic roles – the lock keeper.
