Supreme Court rejects Brexit appeal

The UK's highest court has ruled that Parliament must have a vote on whether the government can start the Brexit process.

The Supreme Court judgement means Theresa May cannot trigger article 50, and begin talks with the EU, until after MPs and Peers have given their backing.
