£1 billion investment announced for Greenwich

With 800 hundred apartments, a hotel, shops and office space , the Mayor has today revealed what will be the centrepiece for the redevlopment of North Greenwich.

At a cost of 1 billion pounds, the glass Peninsula Place building will sit above the area's tube station, towering over the O2 Arena.
