A David Hockney Retrospective: The Tate's biggest show to date

The Tate's new David Hockney exhibition has been its fastest-selling show to date - and it hasn't even opened yet.

Twenty thousand people have already pre-booked tickets to see the retrospective, which traces the artist's career across six decades.

It is the biggest show the Tate has ever put on, we've been for a preview.

The David Hockney retrospective is on at Tate Britain opening on Thursday 9th,  in time for the artist's 80th birthday.
