London needs the most help with literacy

London needs more help when it comes to literacy than any other region in the country.

That's according to a study by the National Literacy Trust and credit reference agency, Experian, which has identified the areas with the biggest reading and writing issues.

It found five constituencies here including Barking, and Hackney rank among the worst.

The Director of the Trust, Jonathan Douglas, told this programme that a new approach is needed.
