Vauxhall's new gay club gets an extended licence

A new gay club in Vauxhall has been given the go ahead to open with a 5am licence. Lambeth Council say the extension is 'unusual', as most venues must shut their doors at 2am. The local authority says it's given Bloc South the permission in order to keep the area at the centre of the LGBT community, while the club's owner says it's a boost to the night-time economy.
