Could changes to business rates push small firms out of the capital?

Around 40% of firms in the capital expect to see an increase in business rates of more than 20% when changes to the system take effect in April. That's according to research by the Federation of Small Businesses.

It's among those calling for the Chancellor to give more support to firms in London to relieve the burden.
